From Spain/ Valencia
Follow the A3 towards Braga, then the A11 towards Guimarães, and finally the A7 towards Felgueiras, until the exit A4 Amarante/ Vila Real, where you should take the exit Amarante Este (exit 17).
From Algarve/ Lisbon
Follow the A1 until Oporto, taking then the bridge Ponte do Freixo and the VCI.
On the VCI, exit for the A3 towards Braga, then take the exit Vila Real (A4).
After the toll, take the exit Amarante Este (exit 17).
Turn right towards Amarante center, go down and at the roundabout , take the exit for Parque Florestal (3rd right).
Go down and forward, pass the roundabout direction of the old Amarante bridge. Before the bridge turn right to the wooden gate.
Directions by train
