Wine Experiences

Discover facts and interesting facts on a guided tour of the estate's vineyards, accompanied by one of our sommeliers, and finish with an on-site tasting. Only then will you be able to fully appreciate the excellence of Calçada wines.

This experience, lasting an average of one to two hours, is available every day between 10am and 6pm.

Picnic

In a place immersed in natural scenery, there's nothing better than taking advantage of outdoor life and the little pleasures – which are, in essence, the best things in life! – and having a picnic.
This is a daily option, between 10am and 6pm.

Cocktail workshop

Directly at the bar or on our epic terrace overlooking the Tâmega River, you can schedule an hour of pure liquid pleasure, guided by our bartender, and discover the alchemical secrets of mixology.
Available every day between 4pm and 8pm.

Activities in the City

Run

We propose a one-hour run with a member of our athletic staff, so that your vacation doesn't interrupt your wellness routines or, conversely, so that you finally succumb to the benefits of running.
Subject to availability | Requires prior booking 24 hours in advance.
This is a daily option, between 7am and 11am.

Historical tour of Amarante

Did you know that Amarante is on the Camino de Santiago route? But there's much more to discover. Start your day with a guided tour of the enchanting and charming city of Amarante, its monuments, churches, and museums, and, during the half-hour tour, unravel its countless secrets and mysteries.

Golf course with views of the Marão mountain range

The Amarante Golf Course, inaugurated in 1997 and designed by architect Jorge Santana da Silva, provides a serene and immersive experience, just minutes from Casa da Calçada.

A day in Porto

We suggest you begin your visit at Praça dos Aliados to admire the architecture of the city center. Continue to Mercado do Bolhão, a reflection of Porto's authenticity. Then head towards São Bento Station and discover the city's history through its tile panels.
Don't miss a visit to the Lello bookstore, and climb the Clérigos Tower for a panoramic view over Porto, or visit Porto Cathedral.
Descend to Ribeira and cross the Dom Luís I Bridge for a panoramic view over the colorful houses on the Porto riverbank. Climb up to Jardim do Morro, in Gaia, and watch the sunset from a privileged vantage point.
